Blackstone Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Licensing & Compliance Specialist


JOB SUMMARY:

The Licensing and Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Finance Operations by managing all aspects of business and security agency licensing across the various jurisdictions where the company operates.


Manage licensing for states, counties, cities, etc., including renewals, new applications, required licenses, and changes of qualifying agents.

• Maintain business documents, generate reports, apply for new licenses and renewals, and track deadlines, actions required, and statuses.

• Manage company-used software to track deadlines and statuses of new applications and renewals (license expiration, license qualifying agent, etc.).

• Stay informed about Federal, State, and local government rules and regulations that apply to BCI's licenses and business operations.


• Communicate with state and local authorities regarding the status of licenses and applications.

• Partner with a cross-functional team and solve concerns or issues regarding the status of new and pending licenses.

• Manage payments and communication with licensing entities and coordinate to meet necessary requirements.

• Manage license assignments of various SaaS subscriptions, maintain a working relationship with SaaS customer success representatives, keep up to date on new and emerging features and technologies available within the SaaS’s environment and make recommendations to management on upgrades and/or implementation.

• Gather, format, and analyze data for reporting and provide updates to executive leadership.

• Manage enterprise-wide subscriptions and plans.

• Support the finance operations team with administrative duties as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.




Minimum Experience:

  • Associate Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Coordinator/ Administrative Experience
  • Compliance experience
