Compliance Manager

In this role, you'll be responsible for safeguarding our client's operations by overseeing insurance, legal matters, and licensing for all locations.

Here's what you'll do:

• Insurance Guardian: Identify necessary insurance coverage for new locations, collaborate with brokers to secure optimal policies, and conduct annual reviews to ensure comprehensive protection.
• Claims Champion: Manage the filing of insurance claims for guest incidents and foodborne illnesses, ensuring all necessary information is collected for efficient resolution.
• Legal Eagle: File legal notices and claims with appropriate carriers, obtain insurance provider approvals for legal firms and cybersecurity consultants, and track pending legal issues to guarantee timely responses.
• Licensing Pro: Obtain all required licenses for new locations, track and file renewals, and coordinate with attorneys for liquor license applications.

To be successful, you'll need:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience ensuring company compliance with laws, regulations, licensing, and insurance.
• Extensive experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry, with a focus on industry-specific compliance regulations.
• A proven track record of developing and delivering successful training programs.
• In-depth understanding of Department of Labor's FLSA standards, including Tip and Overtime laws, Worker Safety, Form I-9, and E-Verify requirements.
• Familiarity with banking procedures and accounting systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to train and motivate managers and team members.
• Top-notch problem-solving skills with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business and communication tools.
• A keen eye for detail and knowledge of traditional and modern training methods.
• The ability to lead and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
