Compliance Director Assistant - Remote | WFH

Are you passionate about the beverage industry and experienced in compliance roles? Join our team as a Compliance Director Assistant at a unique Birmingham-based brand. You'll collaborate closely with our Compliance Director to ensure adherence to import regulations, support inventory management, and bolster our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Federal and State import regulations, including documentation and licensing.

Assist in securing permits and certifications necessary for operations.

Stay informed on changes in import laws to maintain company compliance.

Optimize inventory levels through collaboration with the inventory team, minimizing stockouts.

Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Support order processing, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.

Work alongside the operations team to ensure accurate product delivery.

Assist the operations manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Compliance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in compliance support within the beverage or alcohol industry.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with import regulations and compliance practices.

Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian is advantageous.
