The Opportunity:

We are in search of a Compliance Lawyer to support our client's legal department within a leading global corporation. This role involves designing and implementing compliance programs, particularly for monitorships, communicating with monitoring trustees, gathering related materials, and ensuring adherence to changes. This position suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, are adept at handling multiple projects, and possess excellent communication and legal advisory skills.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Experience: At least 3-8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or a related area.
• Compliance Programs: Proven experience in designing and implementing compliance programs, particularly for monitorships.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with monitoring trustees and gather related materials.
• Compliance Needs:
• Work with senior managing counsel in commercial, international, and compliance functions to implement compliance programs with respect to European Commission monitoring programs.
• Ensure adherence to commitments and monitoring changes.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with commercial and international functions, particularly in mobile consumer electronics businesses.
• Government Investigations: Experience with government investigations is highly desirable.
• Team Integration: Ability to integrate into the team and work collaboratively with compliance teams and commercial lawyers.
• Flexibility: Open to working full-time for 6+ months, with potential for a longer-term opportunity.

Initial Assignment Details:

• Start Date: September 2024
• Duration: 6 months full-time with some potential to transition to a permanent full-time role.
