Compliance and Quality Care Specialist

Job Description

University Cancer and Blood Center is looking to hire a Full-Time Compliance and Quality Care Specialist. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • MIPS Tracking/ Training
  • Depression screening tracking
  • Staging report and tracking
  • Monitoring no-show/ late appt live well
  • EOM
  • Screening day
  • Entering in providers
  • Visit note status
  • SMG- patient satisfaction surveys
  • Insurance contracts
  • FPPE @ the hospital
  • Maintain effectiveness of the Compliance Program
  • Serve as a corporate resource for healthcare compliance matters, including Medicare reimbursement information, and coding/billing matters, as well as HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Evaluate, develop, and modify policies and procedures to conform to relevant state, federal, regulatory, and/or industry standards and requirements.
  • Develop and provide education and training for providers and employees on the Compliance Program and ensure employees are knowledgeable of relevant regulations and policies.
  • Manage investigative and audit processes to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Serve as HIPAA/Privacy specialists

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Public Health or Healthcare Administration
  • 3-year Healthcare experience preferred
  • Positive attitude is a must
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Seniority level
