COMMUNITY RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibilities

Roxbury Treatment Center is currently recruiting for a full-time Community Relations Representative. The Community Relations Representative provides sales, marketing, public relations and customer service activities within the Business Development Department. The Community Relations Representative participates in the account management system, assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives. He/she plans events, provides tours, provides referral source inservices, acts as a liaison between the referral source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities. He/She also collaborates with Director, Business Development in departmental management activities.

Roxbury is a 112-bed behavioral healthcare facility located in Shippensburg, PA. Our 52-bed acute adult and adolescent psychiatric units treating individuals with mental illnesses who need short-term hospitalization. In our 60-bed chemical dependency unit, detoxification is conducted under close medical supervision for adults dealing with substance abuse issues.

Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,00 people, as reported by the CDC; or a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of service would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing or Human Services field, preferred. Prior marketing and/or sales and supervisory experience within a behavioral healthcare setting, preferred.
