Job Description


The Community Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to identify key initiatives that will enhance community member experience and value to the organization. Once identified, the Community Project Manager will be responsible for developing requirements and the development and execution of an implementation plan for the initiatives. Additional activities of the Community Manager Specialist will include:


Project Planning and Oversight identify and prioritize activities working with stakeholders and engineering to stand up new communities and upgrade to existing ones. Identify and drive new initiatives that will contribute to enhanced user experience, actively working with DevOps/IT as appropriate.


Requirements Definition define detailed requirements for initiatives that mirror business needs that allows DevOps to provide Level of Effort estimates.


Project Management manage efforts by coordinating internal, external and DevOps to align to timelines and expected work product.


TechOps identify functional requirements that will improve experience and engage with engineering team to prioritize and drive requirements. Will also be responsible for validating new functionality before production release.


Change Management/Communication work closely with community team to prepare for new releases and work with stakeholders to ensure members and stakeholders are aware of change, and action taken to train or communicate to appropriate parties.


Quality Assurance participate in DevOps validations, and coordinate with business and DevOps to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


Best Practice/Learning stay up to date on lasted trends and best practices related to community capabilities and oversight.


Coordination across stakeholders (i.e. product teams, legal, community, etc.) to ensure smooth process and accurate communications.

Required qualifications and skills

· 1-3 years’ experience in a project/program management role supporting community

· Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new skills

· Experience working in a fast-paced environment

· Prior Khoros experience highly desired

· Be able to work independently and in a team environment
