As an Entry Level Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our charitable partners by coordinating and executing community outreach initiatives. You will be responsible for engaging with community members, organizing events, delivering presentations, and fostering relationships that enhance our partners' missions.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate revenue for our clients to enable the continuation of various community-based outreach initiatives
Deliver educational presentations to community members to increase awareness of our clients' missions
Set up and attend local events regularly to spread our partners' messages and build lasting relationships with community members
Assist donors with registration and maintain ongoing communication and support to keep them informed about program initiatives and milestones
Accurately notate and accept donations
Receive ongoing training, coaching, and support by attending daily meetings, networking sessions, and one-on-one mentorship
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as within the event team
Ability to represent a professional, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor to customers and fellow team members
Flexibility to work designated schedules, including evenings and weekends for events
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Impeccable willingness to learn and expand your professional customer service career
Natural problem-solving abilities and ease in managing customer complaints
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a willingness to enhance these traits
Consistently display a positive and helpful attitude with customers, sales executives, and co-workers
An empathetic, patient, and caring demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
Basic Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative and/or Sales Associate
High school diploma or comparable certification
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new challenges
