COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN I

The Communications Technician I is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Public Safety.

This is skilled technical work in installing, maintaining, repairing, and using radio transmitters and receivers and other electronic and related mechanical and electrical equipment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)

  • Graduation from an accredited* technical/trade school in Electronics
  • OR
  • One (1) year of experience in the repair of two-way radios/communication equipment ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
