Who: Fortune 500 Healthcare Client

Location: REMOTE (candidate in Texas preferred due to foundation meeting once a month in person)

Duration: 6-month contract

Pay rate: $40-$4/hr

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to oversee and create compelling content for four foundations. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable collaborating with various agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

• Develop and write content across multiple formats including:
• Story writing
• Proposals
• Scripts for special events
• One-sheets
• Advertisement copy
• Invitation copy

Website Management:

• Oversee and manage website content to ensure up-to-date and accurate information.

Special Event Communications:

• Craft and manage communications for special events, ensuring clear and engaging messaging.

Project Management:

• Coordinate the routing of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain communication with foundation teams to keep them informed about project statuses.
• Manage relationships with vendors and external agencies involved in project execution.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing skills with a proven ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in content management and digital communications is preferred.

Additional Information: The successful candidate will work closely with several of our agencies to take on some of the writing tasks and manage the routing of projects. They will also be responsible for keeping our foundation teams updated on the status of projects and managing vendor relationships as they relate to those projects.
