Job Description

OPERATIONS MANAGER, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Responsibilities

As Communications Operations Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic and global team where close collaboration and a good atmosphere are key elements of our success. You will be responsible for delivering newly developed web content to the Optimizely CMS (Episerver) platform and managing the tracking and completion of all projects. You will monitor adherence to delivery deadlines and quality standards. You will become an expert in building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders by managing projects. You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining relations with webmasters and language validators
  • Manage the translation of English web content across additional language sites using the LanguageWire Connector gadget from the Optimizely platform.
  • Responsible for vendor relations, manage expense spreadsheet and approval of all invoices.
  • Provide support for LanguageWire (LW) portal for other non-web related translation projects.
  • Partner with a team of webmasters to manage content for Solenis.com using the Optimizely (Episerver) CMS platform.
  • Maintain associated web templates and processes.
  • Ensure training and processes are documented properly.
  • Partner with brand team on all web-related imagery.
  • Ensure best practices are deployed for customer experience SEO, keywords, alt tags etc.
  • Recommend CMS template upgrades.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical skills and knowledge of Optimizely CMS, as well as other relevant technologies and development practices.
  • Contribute to the documentation of project features and technical processes to support the maintenance and future development of projects.
  • Partner with Social Media manager to support social media calendar and scheduling via Sprout platform. Manage special projects and various administrative roles as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Optimizely (formerly known as Episerver) CMS utilization experience or similar platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with LanguageWire preferred.
  • Understanding of the various forms of social media; proper use of hashtag and handles would be good to have.
  • Salesforce.com (SFDC) desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Stream Video Channel
  • Efficient communication skills; written and oral, ability to interface with various levels of management
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all level.
  • Openness to adapt to new scenarios and embrace challenge.
  • Eager to learn new technologies and development practices, with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Ability to work independently / self-starter.
  • The position requires a structured and organized person with excellent attention to detail, who is able to deliver quality without compromising on speed.
  • You have an outstanding approach to customer service.
