About the Role:
The communications manager supports our public relations initiatives globally to drive share of voice. The individual will work with Sitecore’s public relations agencies, manage execution of news strategy, and create content for use by the media.
Location:
Hybrid, working on Eastern Time
Ability to adjust work schedule occasionally to accommodate meetings with other time zones
What You’ll Do:
Create, distribute, and if needed help pitch news stories, in partnership with PR agencies, to support the Sitecore brand story
Craft stories for marketing and technical audiences
Work cross-functionally to support marketing and communications plans
Write news releases as needed
Work with customers to place their stories in the media
Drive media participation in Sitecore events
Partner with the content and social teams to extend the value of media coverage across channels
Actively monitor news trends and make recommendations on associated media strategy
What You Need to Succeed:
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Ability to write in Sitecore’s brand voice or that of key executives
Deep experience navigating B2B or enterprise technology messaging, storytelling, and media
Ability to work independently and on a team
Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing deadlines
Experience with social media and video platforms
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
Knowledge of the digital experience platform sector
Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
