Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications Manager to join our team. As a Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives to enhance our company's brand reputation and engage key stakeholders. You will oversee both internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with organizational goals.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Strategic Communication Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and plans that support organizational objectives and enhance brand visibility.
    • Collaborate with senior management to define key messages and communication priorities.
  • Media Relations:
    • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
    • Pitch company news, stories, and thought leadership articles to secure media coverage.
    • Prepare press releases, media kits, and other materials for media distribution.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to engage employees, promote company culture, and convey organizational updates.
    • Manage intranet content, newsletters, and employee communications platforms.
  • Public Relations and Reputation Management:
    • Monitor media coverage and online mentions to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
    • Develop crisis communication plans and serve as a spokesperson during crisis situations.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Create compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media, and website content.
    • Ensure all content is consistent with brand messaging and meets high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Executive Communication Support:
    • Provide communication support to senior executives, including speech writing, presentations, and talking points.
    • Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances.
  • Event Management:
    • Plan and coordinate press conferences, media briefings, industry events, and corporate meetings.
    • Manage logistics, media attendance, and post-event follow-up.
  • Measurement and Analysis:
    • Track and analyze communication effectiveness using metrics and KPIs.
    • Use insights to optimize communication strategies and tactics.
Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • X+ years of experience in communications roles, with demonstrated success in developing and executing communication strategies.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with attention to detail and ability to craft messages for different audiences.
  • Proven experience in media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align communications with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing digital communication platforms and proficiency in social media management.
  • Knowledge of communication best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
