StyleSignPlan is seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX. This position is pivotal in enhancing our brand's presence and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement communication strategies to promote StyleSignPlan’s brand and services.
Create, edit, and manage content for various platforms including the company website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
Collaborate with different departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Coordinate and oversee the production of promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
Monitor and analyze communication metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Manage media relations and act as a spokesperson for the company when required.
Organize and manage events such as press conferences, exhibitions, and corporate functions.
Assist in crisis communication and develop contingency plans for potential communication challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industries.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in content creation and management tools (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with media relations and public speaking is a plus.
