Description: As a Communications Coordinator at TMZ Events, you will be a key player in shaping and disseminating our brand's message across multiple channels. You will be responsible for ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling communication with both our internal team and our external audience.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, edit, and manage content for various communication platforms, including press releases, social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep the team informed and aligned with company goals and updates.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide insights to inform communication strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and client service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press coverage.
- Analyze communication metrics and prepare reports to track the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus.
