Our Project Management business focuses on the design, build, and supply of both dry and liquid material-handling systems. Project sizes average $3M, with larger projects up to $100M. The buyout content is historically half of the overall project value. The Group maintains an active portfolio of approximately one hundred domestic and international projects.


As a commodity Projects Buyer, you’ll work closely with the Projects team et al. to administer and oversee project-related purchasing and expediting functions by ensuring the procurement process, and project requirements are implemented, monitored, and maintained. This role will focus on buying and delivery of commodity materials such as but not limited to pipe, tubing, valves, instrumentation, basic fabrications, gaskets, etc.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics, similar or equivalent experience
  • General understanding of the typical purchasing process: Quotation-Vendor Selection-Purchase order submission-order acknowledgment-shipment logistics – material receipt and payment
  • Professional experience administering commodity purchasing functions
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired but not required
  • Solid working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office with strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills
