The Position:

We are seeking team members that have 3+ years experience and certified for field

commissioning of commercial HVAC air and hydronic systems. The position also have responsibility as a TAB Technician which includes assisting our commission team. Successful experienced candidates will hold their BCA, ACG or other Cx certifications.

Responsibilities:

• This job requires travel throughout the USA, estimated at 70% during weekdays, home weekends.
• Interpretation of construction documents, control sequences and technical manuals
• Run startup meetings involving Construction Managers, Design Team, multiple subcontractors, local utility agencies and owners to coordinate/ drive MEP system start-up activities
• Interface between Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating and tracking Mechanical/ Electrical / Refrigeration startups
• Verify all documentation is complete and equipment being readied for startup is construction complete and can be safely started.
• Coordinate MEPR systems with architectural and structural elements within the overall project design
• Organize and facilitate training of the Owner’s personnel in the operations and maintenance of MEP systems
• Review and process project MEPR submittal information and coordinate between multiple submittals and drawing sets to ensure the accuracy and functionality of each component of the various systems
• To actively participating in the company’s Commissioning Training Program to ensure all required BCA/ACG and company standards and practices are maintained. A technician’s continuing education requirements help maintain knowledge of industry changes, grow their knowledge base, and better support the company and a diverse client base.
• Inspect systems to verify compliance with installation plans and specifications and to detect potential or existing malfunctions in system components
