Summary: Responsible for managing the Loan Operations Department of the Bank and supporting the lending functions of the bank. This includes but is not limited to processing, servicing, customer service, reporting functions and accounting related needs. This individual should design and administrator processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing, leads, training needs and supervises the operations staff to meet strategic goals. This individual should also communicate with other bank departments to ensure integration and support is bank wide and establish a positive working relationship across the organization. Expertise in Commercial loan documents, Freddie Mac, loan operations and servicing, and core system are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and demonstrate proficiency with loan software applications
Manage the daily operations of the department in an efficient and effective manner
Direct loan input (system boarding) and verification procedures for all loans. Ensure proper segregation of duties, develop and maintain workflows for all stages of loan input to ensure all work is verified accurately.
Supervise all aspects of the loan operations (portfolio and sold). This supervision includes posting of payment, payoffs, escrow accounting, escrow analysis, draw request, balancing, disbursing loan funds.
Ensure lending staff is provided with updates and procedural changes.
Adheres to all State and Federal Banking Regulations, receive and research new regulations, policies and procedures and implement them. Staying current on compliance and regulations by attending seminars and reading available information. Ensure necessary changes or recommendations have been implemented as directed.
Responsible for assisting when needed timely preparation of Board, Call, SBA and other various reports.
Implement operation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and internal compliance requirements
Interact with auditors, loan review, compliance, and examiners to assist in Bank reviews and examinations. Follow up and correct any items addressed and ensure necessary changes or recommendations have been implemented as directed.

Education and Experience:
Some college background strongly preferred, business or related degree is a plus.
Management experience or Wanting to be in a leadership role
5+ years banking experience
Detailed knowledge of lending products, including residential, commercial, consumer and leasing.
Experience in solving practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Preferred Experience in developing, training, leading, inspire and motivating teams.
