About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Management Intern to join our family!
The purpose of the Project Management Intern is to provide administrative support to our projects. This includes supporting the project teams with setup, execution, document management, closeout, and financials for all projects.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with field staff and project team to ensure that all necessary items are in place to operate a successful project.
Learn to read estimates and drawings to create field plans.
Track and coordinate the documents relating to individual jobs and the overall company.
Create a project checklist to track project-specific requirements.
Processing of AIA documents, Lien Waivers, Warranty Letters, Submittals, RFI and more
Requesting and submitting insurance documents.
Prepare, track, and distribute project directories.
Ensure all job files are stored and updated in both our digital and physical filing systems.
Process job reporting.
Provide support with other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Education And Experience.
Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the construction industry is required.
Prior experience with commercial construction projects is a plus.
Basic understanding of construction terms is a plus.
Ability to type and use software such as: Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

Positive attitude, outgoing personality with a true desire to learn.
Must be on time every day.
Must be able to reliably commute to the office daily. (This is an in-office job, not a remote job).
Be willing to have a background check.
Detail oriented with a proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with project team, clients, and executives to ensure efficient paperwork flow.
Able to manage multiple ongoing projects.
Able to identify and prioritize tasks.
Must be organized.
Accurate typing/data entry, editing and proofread.
Understand basic Excel formulas and functions.

Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restriction, now and in the future.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk; must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
