Commercial Vice President
About the company:
JBAndrews are currently partnered with a global provider of life science ingredients and high-value added technical support services. The company have a global presence across the EMEA, North America and APAC regions.
As Commercial Vice President, you will be responsible for managing and leading the North America sales division and coordinating sales effectiveness and marketing efforts.
Key accountabilities:
- Devise and implement commercial strategies, based upon division goals, to position the division for optimal growth.
- Foster profitable sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Directly manage a growing and cross-functional commercial team.
- Promote a collaborative culture within the division.
- Contribute to the activities of Principal Management colleagues.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor trends.
- Responsible for reorganization, succession planning and hiring.
- Develop a consistent sales process to drive successful sales outcomes.
- Establish a productive KPI system and other relevant metrics.
- Coordinate commercial training activities.
- Manage strategic key relationships within the division and close strategic opportunities.
Requirements:
- A BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is essential.
- An MBA would be a plus.
- A minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical excipient sales experience, with at least 10 years of sales management experience.
- A strong background selling to generic pharmaceutical customers with a technical sales focus on high-value added, specialty products.
- Willing to travel some of the time.
