Commercial Roofing General Manager

Overview: As the Commercial Roofing General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the commercial roofing division within our company. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and manage the division's profitability and growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a strategic mindset to drive the division forward.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers, supervisors, and roofing crews.
• Establish clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity.

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial roofing projects from start to finish.

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability, implementing cost-saving measures whenever possible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in commercial roofing or construction management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
