Position Overview: The Commercial Roofing Branch Manager is a leadership position responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of commercial roofing operations within the branch, including but not limited to safety, training, installation, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of commercial roofing operations and processes.
Manage and supervise a team of roofers to ensure that installation and reroof projects are completed in a timely and safe manner.
Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed and that all OSHA regulations and standards are adhered to.
Develop training plans for new and existing roofers.
Maintain proper documentation of all roofing projects.
Schedule and supervise all installation and reroof projects.
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Conduct regular on-site inspections of roofing projects to ensure quality and safety.
Develop cost-effective materials and labor estimates for roofing projects.
Manage the budget for the branch and ensure that all expenses stay within budget.
Monitor and review the performance of all employees in the branch.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
5+ years of experience in commercial roofing operations.
Proficient in OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Knowledge of installation, reroofs, and commercial construction.
Ability to provide training to new and existing employees.
Strong understanding of project management and budgeting.
