Job Summary

We are seeking self-motivated and aggressive Insurance Sales Producer who are excited by the challenges of growing IAT’s business, as well as maintaining strong relationships with our current clients. We have opportunities in the headquarters as well as branch offices.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Sell new accounts and renew existing ones in keeping with agency and individual goals while building relationships with clients.
• Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources provided by agency, by cold calls and phone contacts.
• Develop information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account.
• Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, as well as agency staff, to minimize potential for error and omission claims.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years property casualty sales experience
• 2-year or 4-year degree preferred
• Strong sales aptitude
• Willingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new business
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Disciplined, well organized, and self-motivated person
• Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and follow up skills
• Willingness and ability to travel independently to client and prospect meetings on a regular basis
• Active NC insurance license
  
  

Compensation

• First 12 months
• Salary / Draw range:
• ▪ $65k - $150k
• Commission Split range:
• ▪ 20% - 35% new business ▪ 10% - 15% renewal business
• After 12 months – Commission only compensation

• The posted range for this position is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to full proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location / labor market, internal equity, etc.
