Commercial Lines Account Manager (Gulfshore Insurance)

<span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Gulfshore Insurance, an Acrisure agency partner, has a current need for a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager. This individual, <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">in cooperation with Client Advisor, is responsible for assisting new and renewal clients with service needs on accounts that generate generally more than $2,500 in annual commission. Specific service responsibilities are assigned per guidelines, procedures, quality and service standards as stated by the agency. This individual will work remotely. 

 

<span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options/exclusions, making coverage recommendations, requesting policy changes, handling premium collections, and answering questions and concerns of the client
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Provide in house customer service to clients as assigned and requested
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Review aged receivables and send out direct notice of cancellation per agency procedures. Through service touch points, review current coverage, recommend changes in coverage or markets, and actively solicit increase in coverage or rounding out of account
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Review with Client Advisor and invoice all audits.  Follow company directions for disputed audits
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Provide service and support to Client Advisors on existing accounts and assist them in their delivery of commitments to clients
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Initiates renewal reviews and re-markets as appropriate, to provide the client with the optimal solution in the coverage of their assets and the retention of the client.  Prepares summaries of insurance and recommends coverages to avoid potential E&O issues
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Process surplus lines agency bill renewals and remarket to an admitted carrier whenever possible
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Review renewals to determine if non-standard policies can be rewritten in a standard market. Prepare rewrite applications
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Remarketing of a renewal to provide best option(s) available to client in current market conditions
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Review and underwrite renewals for the Cincinnati Insurance Company and provide renewal instructions to Account Service Assistant 
    • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Receive and review cancellations and act to save accounts.  Determine necessary action, and notify Client Advisor as necessary
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Maintains client accounts on agency automation system, documents conversations, properly attaches documents to on On-Base, sends confirmations to insured’s and adheres to all other automation procedures that are or become established

  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Must secure valid 220 license within 180 days of hire
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Minimum 3 years commercial lines customer service experience or 1 year customer service representative experience and 2 years as a customer service assistant

 

<span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Other Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members

  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • <span style="font-family:"Roboto Slab",serif">Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
