Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in assisting new and existing clients with their service needs. Working closely with Client Advisors, you will be responsible for managing service requests and ensuring adherence to agency guidelines and service standards.
Experience
High School diploma required.
220 license required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines customer service, or 1 year as a customer service representative and 2 years as a customer service assistant.
Special Technical And Administrative Knowledge
Proficiency in agency automation systems and other relevant software.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Special Skills And Abilities
Ability to interpret policy change requests and communicate effectively with clients and insurance companies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests efficiently.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and client service.
Unique Duties/Responsibilities
Advise clients on coverage options, handle policy changes, and address client inquiries promptly.
Provide in-house customer service support as assigned.
Review and manage client accounts on agency systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist in renewal reviews and market analysis to optimize client coverage.
Collaborate with Client Advisors to deliver exceptional service and support.
Miscellaneous
Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Support efficiency improvements in automation and workflow processes.
Stay informed on industry trends, products, and competitive markets.
