Commercial Lines Account Executive

Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Property Casualty Account Executive for our Commercial Lines team in Garden City, NJ!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work with Commercial Lines Leader and Producers to ensure completion of all renewals, including meeting attendance.
• Manage renewal process in obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers.
• Conduct and assemble in draft and final form all accurate marketing proposals.
• Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena.
• Daily contact with insurance carriers.
• Manage inquiries and complaints regarding carrier claims resolution and act as liaison on behalf of assigned accounts to intervene with delays in claim processing.
• Investigate research and provide timely responses to all clients.
• Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource.
• Attend all departmental service meetings.
• Assist with training of new Producers and Group marketing Representatives.
• Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
• Support training, development and mentorship of team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required
• 5+ years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level is preferred.
• Must have extensive computer knowledge in a Windows environment, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
• NY Property & Casualty Producer License required.
