Position: Fleet and Commercial Department Manager (CDM)

The Commercial Department Manager is a “people-leader” role and has the responsibility to lead their team of sales professionals, develop and leverage the team’s skillsets, and ensures the team is meeting department objectives for activity, volume sales of fleet/commercial vehicles, and of course, profitability. What can you expect to do in a CDM role?
Set KPI/accountability metrics for each team member
Focus on retention and growth of current customer base
Implement territory plan to grow new business sales
Leverage ancillary and adjacency sales to maximize profitability within customer base
Ensure team is fully capable of utilizing all tools and services to sell Fleet Analysis
Cycling
Telematics
Fleet Services
Assist sales team with all aspects of a sales process from lead to close
Ensure the department achieves all related objectives and goals
Proactively gameplan efficient and long-term hiring needs including the onboarding process
Are you the perfect CDM?
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Prior supervisory/sales team management experience
Computer and tech-savvy - Including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Products
Ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and improve financial results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed
Able to lead your team by example
Ability to travel to customer appointments

Compensation:
- 12 Month Guarantee of $10,000/month with commission/bonus potential
Year 1 Range: $120,000 - $140,000
Mandatory Requirements
Successful completion: MVR, Background check, Drug screening
Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
