The Role:

DailyPay is seeking a high-performing, collaborative, and enthusiastic attorney to provide transactional and legal support to DailyPay’s fast-growing, dynamic business, focusing on commercial contracts and other corporate matters. The attorney will be a valuable member of DailyPay’s legal team and will work closely with various DailyPay departments, including compliance, policy, finance, product, marketing, procurement, information security, people operations and sales.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex agreements and documentation to support DailyPay’s evolving business, including master services agreements, sales contracts, consulting agreements, marketing-related agreements, statements of work, referral contracts, sponsorship agreements, technology licensing agreements, partnership agreements and privacy policies.
  • Create and update DailyPay’s form templates and contracts.
  • Ensure that DailyPay’s policies and procedures are followed and that all transaction documentation complies with company policies and applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy and data security requirements.
  • Provide legal and regulatory support to senior management and other company stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in the development of business processes and procedures to help scale DailyPay’s business.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3+ years of legal experience, including practicing in a corporate area at a top law firm and/or in-house experience in a technology-related or start-up environment.
  • Familiarity with data privacy law (preferred but not required).
  • Superb leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and independently manage a high volume of work.
  • Ability to move fast and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a growing team.
  • Sound legal judgment, commercial awareness, and business acumen.
  • Highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited, nationally recognized top law school and admission to the New York bar.

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
