Position Overview
We're seeking an energetic and proactive Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for our commercial construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of field operations for commercial construction projects
Monitor and maintain safety standards
Develop subcontractor scopes of work
Manage self-performing labor force
Create and update project schedules
Control general condition costs
Oversee subcontractor quality and schedule performance
Implement and maintain site quality control programs
Prepare daily reports and maintain project tracking logs
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a related position
Minimum 3 years of experience managing commercial projects (office, healthcare, biotechnology, industrial, retail, hospitality, food services)
Proficiency in managing projects from mobilization through closeout
Strong understanding of design drawings, details, and finishes
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to complete related documentation
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
Proficiency in managing onsite crews and maintaining schedules
Strong relationship management skills with subcontractors and clients
Experience with utility shutdown procedures
Ability to review and maintain job cost reports
Willingness to mentor less experienced team members
Technical Competencies
Understanding of mechanical systems and controls
Proficiency in creating and managing master schedules using CPM strategies
Experience with MEP coordination and design review
Knowledge of quality assurance and control programs
Understanding of construction-related contracts
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
Experience with Bluebeam (preferred)

Physical Requirements
Ability to navigate job sites in various conditions for extended periods
May involve climbing, crawling, lifting, and carrying construction-related objects
