General Summary

As the Store Manager, you will lead through your team to drive top line sales and profit in your location. A Store Manager will lead and provide direction to your entire store team. You are the link between Lucchese’s brand vision and how it comes to life in your store. You ensure your store achieves all key metrics and is meeting or exceeding profitability goals. As the head merchant, you will lead, follow up, coach and train on business analysis and merchandising decisions. You are expected to proactively create the store business plan to drive profitable sales through forecasting and scheduling. You will hold your team accountable to deliver your store and Lucchese’s expected results. By leading the overall skill building and development of your store team in line with company initiatives, you will create a positive talent development culture. As the Store Manager, you personally coach and develop your direct leadership team and other key talent in your store. You will create an inclusive culture of learning application and high performance through talent acquisition, and developing, coaching and holding your team accountable. You are the primary change leader, subject matter expert and communicator for your store team about all brand, market and territory initiatives.

As a Lucchese leader, your priority is to contribute to the success of your market and lead your team in how they contribute to the success of the store. This means that you not only deliver in your role as the Store Manager, but you also model leadership behaviors and deliver as a manager on duty. As the Manager on Duty, you deliver results during your assigned time, drive key performance indicators and brand loyalty by leading through your team. You make decisions and collaborate with other members of your store leadership team to prioritize work based on business needs and company direction.

Supports the inspiration of the team to achieve results and perform at a high level. Is knowledgeable about the competition and market trends to positively impact business results. Drives productivity of the team through coaching and redirecting individuals during each shift. Monitors labor/payroll to maximize productivity, optimize traffic and achieve sales/KPI goals. Contributes to the implementation of product placement, marketing and event strategies. Supports strategies and processes that deliver top line results.

Exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers. Establishes effective relationships to build Lucchese brand loyalty and trust. Upholds Lucchese expectations for quality store experiences for the internal and external customer. Supports effective cross brand merchandise and store center partnerships within the vertical space.

Sources, selects and develops high potential talent, effectively assessing for skill and cultural fit. Accountable for team performance through, coaching and feedback. Teaches and trains Sales Professionals to BUILD selling skills.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of retail management experience
  • Customer Experience Focused
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Basic retail business acumen skills
  • Planning and prioritization skills
  • Communicates effectively
  • Basic technology experience

Requirements

  • College Degree preferred
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move with purpose and maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office
  • Travel between stores and outside the state/province, if necessary
  • Open availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years or older.
