The Opportunity
The Gary E. West College of Business at West Liberty University is seeking a qualified full time, faculty position.
We seek a colleague who is team oriented and willing to assist the West College of Business in enhancing the reach and reputation of its business programs. Candidates should have a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities
Teaching assigned course load (4/4 load)
Student advisement
Curriculum development
Student Recruitment
Assist in the placement and advisement of student internships.
Education & Experience Requirements
Master’s degree in business or business related field, with 18 graduate credit hours in computer information systems required
Experience teaching at the college level required
or ABD business or a business related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline preferred.
Experience advising students preferred.
Experience teaching both in person and online preferred.
Prior professional experience preferred
Candidates credentialed in computer information systems, cybersecurity, management, and marketing preferred.
Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Experience leading and managing others in an academic setting through transparency and collaboration.
