Cold Chain Logistics Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cold Chain Product Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of our cold chain products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and temperature-sensitive product handling. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cold chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development and Management:
- Lead the development and enhancement of cold chain products and solutions.
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
- Identify market needs and opportunities through customer feedback, market research, and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize cold chain processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with IT and data analytics teams to implement technology solutions that enhance cold chain visibility and control.
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cold chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable cold chain solutions.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS Business, Marketing
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Marketing including ownership of the strategy and development of a COLD CHAIN Product Line
- Retail and E-commerce experience preferred
- Direct experience in successfully developing new products
- Life cycle project management experience
- Ability to perform market research and analysis including identifying new market opportunities
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and project management skills
- Effective presenter, excellent written and verbal communication
- Extensive PC knowledge, including database, spreadsheet, and web
- Team player, able to build business teams and manage across a matrix
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Travel: ~35%
