Position Overview

AlphaFund is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Growth & New Business Development to lead our sales division. This role is critical in driving the company’s growth and expanding our client base. The VP will be responsible for managing directors, business development managers, and sales representatives, ensuring the team meets and exceeds business development goals. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the recruiting and staffing industry and a proven track record of driving new business growth.

Your Role

As the Co-Founder and VP Sales, you will be at the forefront of our growth, driving the sales strategy and execution. Your entrepreneurial spirit and sales expertise will be crucial in helping us land our first 100 customers within six months. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Work from Anywhere: Enjoy the freedom to work from any location that suits you, as long as you can overlap with American working hours.
  • Set Your Own Schedule: Take control of your time and create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while ensuring you meet with potential American and Canadian clients.
  • Shape the Future: You’re not just a sales rep. You will help shape the future of Net Net, contributing to our strategy and growth as a true co-founder.
  • Leverage Your Background: Ideal candidates will have experience in creative or technical services firms, such as web design, IT, or advertising agencies. Your understanding of the challenges these firms face will help you relate to our customers and sell effectively.
  • Cold Outreach: Use email, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social platforms to generate interest, book demos, and discuss Net Net’s value proposition.
  • Close Deals: Negotiate, offer incentives or discounts, and close deals to bring in the first 100 customers.
  • Build a Sales System: Develop a repeatable sales process and, in the long run, recruit and manage additional sales reps as we scale.

Compensation & Growth

This position is commission-based to start. As the founder, I hate writing that, but it truly reflects our current status as a lean startup. We've invested substantial $$ into the platform and it's ready to be sold right now, today. So, we offer a generous commission structure so you can quickly earn in excess of $150,000/year and a clear path to equity. But only if you're a real go-getter who's self motivated and self directed.

Reinvestment

As you help us grow, a percentage of revenue will be allocated to ad spend, amplifying your sales efforts and accelerating growth. Achieve our sales targets, and you will be offered an equity stake in the company.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in creative or technical services.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and entrepreneurial.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to relate to small agency owners and understand their pain points.
  • Experience with cold outreach and lead generation.
  • Strong managerial skills and the ability to build a sales team.
