At Conduit Venture Labs, we've been developing something special. We're pioneering a startup that's revolutionizing the water industry. Our mission is to ensure water security of our planet through empowering homeowners to make smarter and healthier decisions on their water usage.
Although this is a pre-baked project with ongoing interest and discussions with major VCs, angel investors and industry leading institutional partners, there is still room to add, update and enhance the product or direction with the right person(s) in the Co-founder seat.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary full-time Co-founder with a passion for edge IoT, creating modern software platforms, and operationalizing maintenance networks. You will play a pivotal role in driving our company initiatives, collaborating with our team to get the company off the ground, and establishing key strategic partnerships with stakeholders within the industry.
You are the right person if you have the experience below:
Leadership abilities to develop, drive and scale a Hardware + Software-as-a-Service consumer and B2B experience, with strategic executive business development experience.
Industry experience in HVAC servicing, water utilities, commercial scale maintenance and servicing logistics, facilities management, predictive maintenance, or adjacent industries.
Technical expertise with experience in developing IOT platforms, consumer hardware, and mobile facing apps.
Passion for climate and water conservation.
Based in Texas, or willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the technological, product, strategic partnerships and/or sales vision with business goals.
Current knowledge of the climate and water industry landscape.
Drive innovation and stay abreast of the latest advancements around climate regulation and edge IOT
Engage in rapid hands-on work and deliver quality output.
Lead fundraising . If you have your own VC network that's great also.
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Can make hard, decisive and thoughtful decisions and communicate direction clearly.
Qualifications:
Passion about building a great company from ground up.
Proven experience in delivering consumer facing software and hardware experiences with notable companies.
Strong skills in your relative field (mentioned above).
Experience in establishing and building relationships with SMBs in the construction and servicing industry.
Knowledge of climate tech industry dynamics and the intersection of state and federal regulation.
Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in your relative field. Advanced degree is a plus.
