Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join Panic Lock as a Co-Founder in a part-time, hybrid role. The Co-Founder will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the company, with responsibilities spanning across sales, marketing, research, and engineering of our safety devices. In close collaboration with the CEO, the Co-Founder will help shape the strategic direction of Panic Lock, drive business growth, and promote our secure lockdown solutions within the education sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a mission-driven startup, making a tangible impact on the school safety industry, worth over $3 billion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform product development and business strategies.
• Lead the engineering and development of safety devices, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Represent Panic Lock at pitch competitions, industry events, and meetings with investors and stakeholders.
• Manage the Research and Development (R&D) team, overseeing the creation and refinement of our products.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for product development and innovation.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive company culture, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Communication, and Research abilities
• Sales and Marketing experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think creatively
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Experience in the education sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• Take part in pitch competitions, be able to attend events, and meet with investors
• Oversee Research and Development of safety devices
• Experience in product development and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
