Description

Job purpose

Assist with on-going projects, sales promotions, and marketing materials.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the completion or designated project throughout the duration of the internship
  • Work both independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring and on-going projects
  • Provide clerical support, data entry, importing and exporting into spreadsheets
  • Will perform general internet research as assigned
  • Create and maintain correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, templates and forms
  • Assist with team meetings in preparation of agendas, minutes and track action items
  • Assist with sales promotions, including creation and maintenance of marketing materials
  • Promote WPI at trade shows and other venues
  • Assist with tracking metrics and reviewing documents
  • Participate in product, service, brand knowledge training

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of college preferred
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Must be able to type 50 plus words per minute
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem solving skills and logical reasoning capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good collaborating and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Mon – Fri, 8AM – 5PM
  • Some extended hours may be required
  • Sitting; occasional bending or kneeling; lift and carry maximum of 15 lbs, reach overhead for lightweight items
  • Office work
