Implement data governance workflows like GDPR and processes, ensuring efficient data governance operations across the organization.
Develops and deploys data governance framework/standards consisting of data policies and processes in the areas of data ingestion, data movement, data quality, master & reference data and data life cycle management.
Conduct data masking, data profiling, data auditing, data quality assessments, and data lineage analysis using tools to identify data issues and develop remediation strategies.
Enforce data practices as per changing regulatory policies to meet compliance requirements from time to time.
Provide support to business stakeholders, data stewards, and data owners on the effective use of tools for data governance activities.
Stay updated on the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data governance, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements.
Should have worked in vigorous agile environment.
Experience in working with team on Data Governance topics.
Take the ownership for implementation of data governance solutions, development and support operations utilizing market leading MDM, Data Quality, Data Cataloguing & Data Governance solutions.
Define Controls, both financial and operational. limiting the number of cloud instances used and deciding who has clearance to make changes to the cloud computing environment.
Implement Controls as per the policy document. Communicate with teams and employees and optionally use third-party tools to help implement controls.
Audit Controls: Continuously monitor controls to make sure you are doing all the right things the right way and monitoring them the right way.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Proficient in Sql, Database Management activities.
Implement end-to-end data governance solutions, focusing on the implementation of Data Governance tools (Collibra/Atlan) to meet the organization's data governance objectives and requirements.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
