PURPOSE
The organization's Information Technology requires a team to provide operational and technical support. This role will support the Cloud Operations Manager in ensuring that the company's, networks, systems, and associated infrastructure run efficiently and perform within agreed targets.
The job entails designing, developing solutions, and supporting existing infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for smooth operations, security and optimization of the cloud infrastructure and services. Eventually, this position will support all the APM owned subsidiaries in the US.

PURPOSE
The organization's Information Technology requires a team to provide operational and technical support. This role will support the Cloud Operations Manager in ensuring that the company's, networks, systems, and associated infrastructure run efficiently and perform within agreed targets.
The job entails designing, developing solutions, and supporting existing infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for smooth operations, security and optimization of the cloud infrastructure and services. Eventually, this position will support all the APM owned subsidiaries in the US.
Some common duties and attributes associated with this role include:
DUTIES
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions within the M365 ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of M365 services.
- Deploy and configure M365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Be security conscious and aware of potential security risks and threats.
- Implement security measures for M365 services, including identity and access management.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) within M365.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to M365.
- Leverage PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate M365 tasks.
- Create and manage M365 policies, rules, and workflows.
- Optimize M365 licensing and subscription management.
- Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
- Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates) to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Maintain Azure configurations as code for consistency and repeatability.
- Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
- Support M365 applications during migration and upgrades.
- Provide end-user support for M365 applications.
- Train users on M365 features and best practices.
- Troubleshoot M365-related issues.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise when evaluating new systems and services or supporting in project implementations.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting the cloud infrastructure in a mid to large organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as relevant work experience in cloud computing, IT operations, or infrastructure management.
- Azure Certification in M365 preferred.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing, having worked extensively in this environment.
- Proficiency in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Centre, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Proficiency in M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Azure Information Protection.
- Above all you must have excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of IT and the ability to tackle issues and pick up new skills under your own initiative.
- Strong technical skills as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
