Who We're Looking For

EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in utilizing your knowledge to teach and manage others on infrastructure efficiency, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

As a Cloud Architect, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities;

• Lead the design, build and management of all EmpiRx Health IT Cloud Infrastructure including, but not limited to: Cloud-based IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms and services, Active Directory, Office 365.
• Serve as the SME in building and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure to support a hyper-growth company.
• Execute on key IT infrastructure and security initiatives.
• Serve as a point of escalation for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with outsourced technology vendors to delivery on key projects and tasks.
• Document IT Infrastructure Architecture.
• Prepare reports to IT Management to communicate the health of the environment.
• Build automated processes to deploy infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT systems installation, operations, design, and architecture of cloud systems.
• 5+ Years implementing/managing cloud resources (Azure Preferred).
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Hands-On experience automating cloud deployment and administrative tasks via scripting.
• Solid scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc.…
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability) and DevOps tool chains and processes.
• Office 365, Intune, Defender administration skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to business and technology leaders, architects, developers, and team members.
• Good technical leadership skills and relevant experience working with other highly technical resources through adopting new technologies while also maintaining highly available, mission critical systems.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with a group of high performing, technical individuals.
• Experience with architecting, implementing, and maintaining highly available mission critical environments for 24x7 availability.
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and provide alternatives in real-time during planning and architecture meetings.
• Solid understanding of security best practices.
• Demonstrated history of working within deadlines and ability to work well under pressure.
