Location: Akron, Ohio

Primary Responsibilities:

• Solution Oversight: Oversee and configure Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, ensuring they integrate smoothly with current infrastructure and adhere to security best practices.
• Baseline Security Alignment: Manage the deployment and support processes for Intune, including using Autopilot to install security software and required applications.
• Technical Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, offering guidance on the deployment, configuration, and optimization of these tools.
• Shared Services Management: Maintain and support shared service technologies, MDM, data centers, and cloud systems.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company IT policies.
• Operational Support: Provide support during remote hands sessions, vacations, and holidays to ensure continuous IT operations.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Experience: Proficiency in working with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Defender.
• Endpoint Solutions: Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing endpoint solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Autopilot, conditional access policies, and endpoint security concepts, including malware prevention, detection, and response, EDR, group policy, and endpoint management.
• Scripting Skills: Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automating and orchestrating endpoint tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal partners, understand their requirements, and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing security incidents and recommending appropriate remediation actions.
• Cross-Platform Experience: Desired experience with Microsoft Defender for non-Microsoft environments (MacOS, Linux, iOS).
• Cloud Security Knowledge: Experience with Azure Security Center and Cloud Security Analytics.
