We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Specialist to join a worldwide Vascular/Structural Heart healthcare organization committed to delivering a range of pioneering medical products and solutions to its clientele. The Clinical Specialist will play a pivotal role in educating physicians, nurses, and technicians on the effective utilization and benefits of the company's products within Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology, and Vascular Surgery suites. They will spearhead training initiatives in their region and provide support during product launches and to busy teams as required. Additionally, this role will contribute to clinical trials both locally and nationally when necessary. Expectations include assisting in the onboarding process for new team members and fostering ongoing skill development within the region. No nights or weekends! TAVR experience a MUST.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in or lead in-service training sessions for physicians and nursing/lab staff to introduce new product evaluations or trials.
  • Prior to evaluations/trials, collect baseline data or insights on hospital/lab closure performance metrics (such as Time to Hemostasis, Time to Ambulation, complication rates, physician/staff satisfaction with current protocols and Vascular Closure Devices).
  • Prior to procedures, assess patient characteristics and provide guidance to physicians and nursing/lab staff on patient profiles conducive to successful product deployment.
  • During procedures, offer consultation to lab physicians and technicians on the appropriate utilization of products.
  • Post-procedure, accompany patients to the recovery room and document survey data pertaining to Time to Ambulation, complications, patient comfort, staff satisfaction, etc.
  • Assist the Territory Manager (TM) in organizing and analyzing evaluation/trial data.
  • Identify issues related to product usage and promptly communicate them to the Regional Sales Director and relevant TM. If issues arise from incorrect or inappropriate device usage, provide additional in-service training to affected clinical staff.
  • Skillfully present clinical papers, RESPECT clinical trial data, and the overall value proposition while adhering to external regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the monitoring of product inventory levels.
  • Share insights on competitive products or account issues/opportunities with the appropriate TM or Customer Service.
  • Assist in the clinical training and onboarding of new field personnel.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health science and relevant registration or certifications (such as RN, RCIS, RCSA, RCMS, RVMS, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience, preferably in the medical industry.
  • Strong clinical background, with experience in products used in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery highly desirable.
