The Opportunity

The Clinical Recruiter - Contractor will source and hire for clinical and non-clinical roles within the organization. This includes talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts and presents quality and diverse candidates for the organization to hire.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with the hiring manager to design and implement overall recruiting strategy for each position
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/colleges, etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media and other resources
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process to ensure a great candidate experience
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Participate in company’s first social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter)
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition leader to establish best practices for candidate experience, requisition creation, interview scheduling, candidate identification, hiring manager experience, and offer letters

Candidate Profile

  • 2 years+ work experience as a Clinical/Healthcare Recruiter
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS), preferably Greenhouse Recruiting
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience working within a startup environment preferred

Position Type & Schedule

  • Type: 1099 Contract to Hire
  • Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm ET. First 2 weeks of training will be 40 hours, 8am-5pm ET.
  • Location Type: Remote, but candidate should reside within the Eastern Time zone.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $30-35.00 per hour.
