In addition to performing duties associated with the Clinical Project Coordinator I role, the CPC II will be established as a project lead for low risk/complexity projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a biological program.
  • One or more years of experience in the clinical research industry or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to work independently as a project coordinator or project lead with minimal project manager guidance.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time

Essential Functions/Areas Of Accountability

  • Clinical Project Coordinator – Provide administration for home nurse visits within a matrixed team of Clinical Project Managers on multiple projects.
  • Supply/IP Logistics - Stocks, maintains, ships and tracks supplies and investigational product for ongoing studies as needed.
  • Nurse Scheduling Logistics - Staffs, coordinates and confirms visits for study nurses.
  • Database Management - Manage internal and external clinical databases. Process study expenses.
  • Documentation - Request and deliver documentation to internal and external cross-functional teams including nurses, study sites, sponsors, vendors, suppliers, CROs, pharmacies and laboratories.
  • Project Lead – Function as the primary point of contact for low risk/complexity projects and act as central liaison for all project stakeholders.
  • Nurse Monitoring - Provide oversight and support for nurses on assigned projects. Review and approve nurse activities for payment.
  • Risk mitigation – Identify and mitigate risks while establishing and documenting corrective actions.
  • Training - Deliver material to nurses and sites through audio/visual presentations.
  • Contributor to Quality - Contribute to continuous improvement of all processes, protocols and SOPs.
  • Review source documents for accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $58,240 - $83,200 per year.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
