Job Description
Join our team as an RN Clinical Educator and embark on a unique journey that allows you to utilize your clinical nursing expertise in a fresh way outside traditional patient care settings. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through the innovative realm of medical device technology. As an educator, you'll be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on infusion pump medical devices, sets outside the pump, and connectors predominantly used in critical care and oncology units. This role is focused solely on education; no sales responsibilities or bedside care involved. We're seeking individuals with a passion for expanding their talents in clinical education. This is a per-diem position that involves travel and offers flexibility to accommodate your current schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to facilitate medical device implementations.
Assess customer-specific educational needs and collaborate with staff to ensure a positive learning experience.
Utilize your clinical nursing expertise to address questions and concerns regarding medical devices.
Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Active RN license required.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in ICU, Oncology, ER, or critical care units within the last 5 years.
Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is beneficial but not mandatory.
Comfortable with basic software programs.
Experience With IV Pumps Is Desirable But Not Essential.
Super-user/pump education experience is a plus but not required.
Intermediate computer skills are necessary.
Ability to work effectively in a group setting and demonstrate strong professional acumen.
