About The Opportunity
Our client, a leading medium-sized mental health facility in Greenville, NC, seeks a visionary Clinical Director to oversee and manage all clinical operations. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, maintaining the highest clinical standards, and fostering a culture of excellence within the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and leadership for clinical services, aligning them with organizational goals. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Quality & Compliance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, regulations, and accreditation standards. Implement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Clinical Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and the authorization and intake processes. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate integrated care.
Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise clinical staff, ensuring compliance with protocols. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Budget & Resources: Develop and manage the clinical department budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource utilization. Identify cost savings and revenue generation opportunities while maintaining high standards of care.
Clinical Research & Innovation: Promote clinical research initiatives and evidence-based practices. Stay abreast of advancements in clinical practice and healthcare technology, recommending innovations.
Patient & Family Engagement: Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers. Implement patient-centered care initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction.
Public Relations: Participate in community involvement and board membership to promote the facility's initiatives and build relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree in a relevant field (LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC, LMFT - dually credentialed preferred).
Board certification in a healthcare setting specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Pediatrics).
Proven experience in clinical leadership and management within a healthcare organization.
Strong knowledge of NC mental healthcare regulations, standards of practice, and patient safety principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, and improve clinical outcomes.
Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and performance improvement.
Preferred Skills
Master's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics.
Certification in CADC.
Working Conditions
The role involves working in a mental health facility environment with regular office hours and occasional evening/weekend availability. Travel may be required.
