Position: Clinical Clerk-ASPC
Location: Amherst, MA
Hours: 32 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 6:30 am to 3:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
The ASPC clinical clerk, reporting directly to the Assistant Manager, will work collaboratively with all other members of the ASPC endoscopy team while following established guidelines in a knowledgeable and independent manner through all aspects of the pre procedure, scheduling, check in and post procedure process.
Job Responsibilities
Greet, instructs and schedules patients
Complete required procedure paperwork
Responsible for ensuring all requests for prescription refills are handled in a timely and efficient manner
Assures adequate inventory of all printed materials including pamphlets, patient packets, medical record supplies, office equipment and supplies
Required Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of customer service experience required, previous medical reception or front office experience preferred
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced office
Able to prioritize and multitask
