Our team of Unified Care specialists provides crucial support to patients between doctor's visits through remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM), aiming for improved health outcomes.

With the Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for our COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test in November 2021, we have become a pivotal supplier of at-home COVID tests to various sectors, including federal and state governments, nonprofits, and individual consumers.

Position: Clinical Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our Unified Care team. In this hybrid technical and clinical role, you will play a vital part in developing an innovative chronic disease management program. Utilizing devices and our Unified Care platform, you will collaborate with clinical team members to provide on-site and online support to patients with chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

Utilize technical proficiency to assist patients in understanding and using our mobile app and medical devices, particularly focusing on elderly patients.

Communicate effectively with individuals of varying tech-savviness, ensuring clarity and patience in conveying technological concepts.

Collaborate with teammates, providers, and clinic staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Assist with direct patient care procedures, including patient check-ins, obtaining medical histories, taking vital signs, and preparing charts.

Maintain accurate electronic health records documentation.

Perform specialized procedures, such as setting up products for patients, following established protocols.

Coordinate clinic inventories and medical supplies.

Educate and advise patients on medical issues within established guidelines, including prescription information.

Manage patient flow according to provider schedules and appointments.

Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, provide follow-up care information, and promote health education.

Qualifications And Skills

Associate degree or above required.

Exceptional communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Demonstrated patience and empathy, particularly when working with elderly patients.

Familiarity with basic medical procedures and terminologies preferred.

Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Collaborative team player with leadership potential and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

Bilingual capability, especially in Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, etc., is advantageous.

Proficiency in computer operations and technical platforms such as Google Workspace (Chat, Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides) and Zoom.
