Client Success Specialist

Client success is paramount to the broader success of Sift Healthcare. As a Client Success Specialist, the ideal candidate will support the Sift Client Success team and our customer counterparts in delivering value derived from Sift products. This role involves soliciting and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement of Sift technology and processes. The individual will assist with analysis and activities to strengthen relationships with existing clients and serve as a point of contact between clients and non-client-facing Sift team members. Additionally, the Client Success Specialist will be involved in implementing and optimizing Sift services for clients, learning about their challenges and working with Sift Client Success leaders to provide insights that maximize customer ROI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Onboard clients to Sift products and services, set goals, create account plans, and manage behavior change.
- Align project goals, scope, and deliverables; create and manage project plans by coordinating tasks with team members and clients.
- Help customers maximize product and service use by deepening their understanding of their needs and communicating them to related teams.
- Address client needs, concerns, and expectations; respond to inquiries; produce and interpret technical diagrams and plans; and draw up delivery schedules.
- Develop internal and client-facing documentation, workflow diagrams, and high-level technical requirements to coordinate documentation, testing, and implementation with engineering and analytics teams.
- Perform monthly reporting and analysis of key performance indicators.
- Participate in curating monthly Sift Analyst Reports by analyzing client denial trends and root causes using Sift’s RevTrack dashboards.
- Collaborate with internal team members to provide feedback on new product enhancements before client delivery.
- Notify clients of upcoming releases and changes to Sift products and processes.
- Support the discovery process with client users and internal cross-departmental peers to identify problems and validate solutions.
- Monitor Sift CRM ticketing portal for client issues and provide timely updates on submitted tickets.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve moderately complex issues.
- Demonstrate general knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, payer reimbursement methodologies, and payment mechanisms, and apply this knowledge to client-specific data trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two years of work experience in healthcare revenue cycle, consulting, or a client-facing role in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient knowledge of hospital revenue cycle billing and collection practices, with an emphasis on denials management and appeals.
- Functional knowledge of healthcare payment reimbursement methodologies and standard code sets (UBC, CPT/HCPCS, DRG).
- Experience working with stakeholders across small internal teams and large enterprise client teams.
- Proficient communication, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Ability to work independently and a low tolerance for questions without answers.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications; SQL proficiency is a major plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Knowledge of Epic or Cerner applications focusing on Professional and/or Hospital Billing is preferred but not required for this role.
