Client Services Manager

They are looking to hire a VP or AVP level manager of Investor Communications.

The Investor Communications Department serves as a key point of contact to the Firm’s investor base. This role requires a motivated individual with a proactive approach to working with other team members and departments, the ability to manage tight reporting deadlines as well as unparalleled attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing a team of three Analysts/Asssociates

Oversee the processing of new investor subscriptions, routine account maintenance and transfer of interest by the Firm’s third-party transfer agent. This responsibility includes the coordination of communication between internal teams and high net worth individuals, wealth managers, and wirehouse operations groups.

Oversee day-to-day team management and acting as the primary escalation point for the Team Lead

Lead strategic initiatives (e.g., wirehouse onboarding, custom reporting requests and subscription platform onboarding), acting as the key relationship contact for electronic onboarding platforms

Liaise with internal departments including Fund Accounting, Tax, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and the Investor Partners Group

Correspond daily with internal teams on day-to-day and ad-hoc activity

Facilitate collaboration with Technology Solutions Team to drive system enhancement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce risks

Ad-hoc Investor Communications projects

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

8+ years of related experience, ideally at a transfer agent or wirehouse role with exposure to alternative investments

Experience facing off with wealth managers with focus on retail products a plus

Must have prior management / people leadership experience
