Arbus Capital Management, LLC is an SEC registered investment advisory firm, founded in 2008 by Arden Rodgers, CFA, that provides customized investment management services to high-net-worth individuals and non-profits. The firm is located in Manhattan, NY and our clients are primarily located on the east coast.
Position Overview
The Client Service Associate will support in the day-to-day activities of the firm and provide outstanding service to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills in all aspects of the workings of a successful, client-focused, RIA firm. Duties will include on-boarding new clients, data gathering for financial plans, attending client meetings, generating client reports, processing client requests, handling compliance mailings along with other client and firm support tasks.
Responsibilities:
The Client Service Associate will work directly with the CFA and support staff to:
Gather data from clients, fill out on-boarding forms, and process them to completion
Respond to client requests in a prompt, friendly, and accurate manner
Obtain, verify, and input client data into a number of financial software tools
Oversee, handle, and resolve alerts from custodians
Monitor client accounts for cash balances and process move-money actions
Generate a variety of client reports
Process quarterly billing
Work with clients’ accountants to process yearly and quarterly tax payments
Coordinate tasks with other support staff to streamline workflows
Send out compliance notices as required
Update website and other social media sites as needed
Proficiencies:
Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize them to ensure completion in a timely manner
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to fill out complex, multi-page forms with 100% accuracy
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a facility to see larger the picture and determine best course of action
Utilize outstanding written and verbal skills when communicating with clients
Provide a high level of discretion, ethical standards and apply integrity through maintaining objectivity. The administrative assistant will work with confidential information, where discretion and sensitivity are a must.
Be technologically savvy and eager to learn software platforms used by the firm -- familiarity with these platforms are a plus:

Requirements:
Undergraduate college degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related subjects
3+ years of work experience at an RIA firm, wire house, or a national or regional custodian, such as Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Fidelity Investments or TIAA-CREF.
Previous experience in a fiduciary environment preferred
